Bartika Rai Has Won Miss Nepal US 2013 Title

Bartika Rai has grabbed Miss Nepal US 2013 title at the grand finale of the beauty papeant held at Queens Theatre in New York 17 August 2013. Bartika Rai was among the sixteen Miss Nepal US 2013 participants that competed for the coveted title. Anuja Thapa Magar , Sony Pathak became the first and second runner-up respectively beauty pageant.

Winner Bartika Rai received prizes with retail value of $5000 along with the scholarship and gift certificates. The first runner-up and the second runner-up were awarded prizes worth $3000 and $2000 respectively along with other gift certificates.

The actress known for her vulgar role in the banned movie ‘ATM’, Sabina Karki is struggling to prove herself in the Nepali movie industry. In a latest news, she is signed in a movie named ‘Panga’ .

In the movie, Sabina will be featured opposite to a stuntman turned actor, Tarzan. Other main actors of the movie inculde Tanka Sawad, Tejraj Chaudhari and Mohamed Alam.

The movie made on a triangular love story is told to be an action movie and is being directed by Raj Bahadur. It will be mainly shot in the Western Nepal in Tikapur, Banke and Bardiya.

Samriddhi Rai Leaves For Miss Tourism Queen Asia

 When majority of Nepal's beauty queens return empty hand from international beauty pageants, one stunning Nepali beauty queen has bagged the Miss Best Personality title at Miss Tourism Queen International 2011 held in Xi'an, China.

Samriddhi Rai, the former editor of Teenz magazine, was successful in bringing the title of Best Personality Award home from the prestigious international pageant held from December 13 to 29, 2011.

This is the first time that any Nepali woman has won a title in an international beauty pageant after Ayusha Shrestha won the World Miss University in Seoul, Korea in 2003.

The pageant held at Quijian International Exhibition Center, Xi'an had hundreds of participants representing different countries from all over the world.

The bubbly beauty queen and journalist Samriddhi Rai will be representing Nepal once again at Miss Tourism Queen Asia in China this month. Maybe she will get big crown this year !.
